Innovative and weird ways to use Quirkos

Come and join Anuja Cabraal and Daniel Turner for an exploratory interactive session, showcasing and creating new ways to use the colourful, creative qualitative analysis tool, Quirkos.

We will explore different ways of coding (and not coding) qualitative data, using it for other parts of your research journey, engaging with different audiences, and thinking differently about how we can collaborate. Bring your ideas, and we will create new ones together!

This is an interactive, in-person event in central Sheffield

This workshop is kindly organised and hosted by Quirkos https://www.quirkos.com/

Reflexivity: Understanding ourselves as instruments of research -Manchester

In qualitative research, the researcher is as much of an instrument as any other method or tool. In this engaging session, we will cover what reflexivity is, why it is important and how it helps us add rigour to our work. Rather than seeing it as researcher vulnerability, we will see how reflexivity adds strength to our work.

This session will address how reflexivity can be used to help address the challenges and barriers we encounter on every stage of the research journey, even the literature review. We will then work through simple and practical reflexive exercises in our own work, throughout different stages in the research process.

This 2hr session from Anuja Cabraal is a small group, interactive workshop for qualitative researchers at all stages and levels of experience. Refreshments and handouts will be provided.
